The extension disappeared after upgrade [for Magento v 1.x]

The M2E Pro menu may disappear after the upgrade because of the following reasons:


1. The M2E Pro extension is not installed.

How to check it?

Navigate System > Configuration

If you cannot see the M2E Pro menu under Configuration tabs, it means that M2E Pro extension is not installed on your Magento.

Most probably the problem is caused by incorrect permissions to files and folders of your Magento which led to the situation when the upgrade did not work correctly.

In this case, you should first make sure that you have full permissions to files and folders of your Magento. 

Also, make sure that Configuration Values set on your hosting meet Minimum Requirements:

They should be:

  • Memory Limit: 512M
  • Max Execution Time: 360 sec
  • Then you should reinstall the extension.

Remember to disable the Compilation ( System > Tools > Compilation) before each upgrade and "Run Compilation Process"  again once the upgrade process is completed. Try to run the Compilation Process.


2. The M2E Pro extension is disabled.

How to check it?

Navigate System > Configuration -> ADVANCED > Advanced > Disable Modules Output > Ess_M2E Pro and make sure that "Enable" is set in the appropriate field (Ess_M2ePro - Enable).


3. The M2E Pro Channels are disabled.

How to check it?

Navigate System > Configuration > M2E Pro > Channels and make sure that appropriate channels are enabled.
