Invalid Region/State value in the Shipping Address

Modified on Thu, 16 Mar 2023 at 01:48 PM

The error message "Invalid Region/State value '{value}' in the Shipping Address" in M2E Pro Order logs indicates that there was an issue creating a Magento Order due to incorrect or incomplete Shipping Information.

To resolve the “Invalid Region/State value” error in M2E Pro, you need to edit the Shipping Address fields and provide a valid Region/State value. This field is required in Magento, so leaving it blank or entering an incorrect value will trigger the error.

To edit the Shipping Address, you need to navigate to the Orders section in M2E Pro and locate the order with the error. You can then click on the order to open it and select the Edit Shipping Address option. This will open a form where you can update the Shipping Address fields, including the Region/State field.

Once a valid Region/State value is saved for the Channel Order, you can attempt to create a Magento Order again in M2E Pro.

You can enable M2E Pro to automatically replace the invalid Region/State value with an alternative one for the specified country.

For this, keep the Override invalid Region/State required value option enabled under eBay/Amazon/Walmart > Configuration > Accounts > Orders > Shipping Information.

In place of the invalid State/Region, Magento Order will be created based on the State/Region from the Magento list.

You'll see the "Invalid Region/State value: “{value}” in the Shipping Address is overridden by '{new value}'" log in the M2E Pro Order logs.
