How to easily distinguish eBay/Amazon/Walmart orders in Magento?

M2E Pro allows you to separate orders imported from Channels and Magento orders in two ways – by selecting an individual Store View for Magento orders or adding a prefix to the Magento order number.

Let’s take a look at both ways in more detail.

Select an individual Store View for Magento orders

In your account settings, you can select a Magento Store View that will be used as a source of product data when a Magento order is created. To separate Channel orders from Magento ones, choose an individual Store View for each Integration.

For that, navigate to your Account settings (eBay/Amazon/Walmart > Configuration > Accounts) and switch to the Orders tab.

Add a prefix to the Magento order number

By indicating the Magento Order Number preferences, namely Prefix settings, you can also tell apart your Channel and Magento orders.

There is a separate field where you enter a certain prefix that will be added to the Magento order number. The prefix serves as a sign that this Magento order is created based on the order imported from the Channel.

For eBay integration, you can choose to add a Marketplace ID as a prefix to the Magento order number:

Also, you can mark your Magento orders via Prefix for each Amazon Order type, including B2B, Prime, and FBA.

To distinguish seller-fulfilled orders from Walmart-fulfilled orders, you can specify a dedicated prefix for your WFS orders:

The Magento Order Number settings are available in the Orders tab for all three integrations – eBay, Amazon, and Walmart.
