Mapping connects your Magento data to Mirakl product fields, so listing details are filled in automatically and consistently. You configure a mapping once, and M2E reuses it for future Mirakl listings instead of having you re-enter the same information.
There are three types. Attribute mapping links a Magento attribute to a Mirakl category attribute, so M2E knows which field supplies each attribute's value. Attribute value mapping matches a Magento value to the value a Mirakl channel accepts when the two differ (for example, "M" to "Medium"), resolving mismatches during listing. Category mapping connects your Magento categories to Mirakl categories, so listed products are assigned to the right category automatically.
