A Bundle Product consists of a number of Simple Products and allows you to build your own, customizable product in Magento.
The final price of a Bundle Product submitted to the Channel depends on two factors:
1) Selected Magento Price Type – either Fixed or Dynamic one.
If you select the Fixed Price Type, you can specify the price for the Main (Parent) Bundle Product, as well as Price Difference for each Simple (Associated) Product within the Main Product.
With the Dynamic Price Type, the item price is composed of Simple (Associated) Products’ price values included in a Bundle Product.
2) Price settings in Selling Policy.
Here is an overview of basic price settings in Selling Policy:
You can also choose to take the price value for a Bundle Product either from Magento Parent (Main) Product or Child (Associated) Products using the Variation Price option.
As for Amazon and Walmart, you can adjust the initial Price source value using the Price Change field. In this field, you provide an amount/percent value you want to increase/decrease the final Channel Price for. Add the “+” or “-” sign to the provided value depending on whether you need to increase or decrease the price.
In the Price Change field, you can also specify the Currency rate value by which the final Amazon/Walmart price will be multiplied.
Using a particular Bundle Product as an example, we will figure out how to calculate its price submitted to Channels depending on different Selling Policy settings and the selected Magento Price Type:
