The error indicates that your products are missing one or more Item Specifics required by a certain Kaufland category.
They may include brand, size, length, width, height, type, color, or style, and vary depending on what you are selling. The error message will specify the missing field, e.g. if 'Manufacturer' is not specified, you will see the below log:
Item specifics requirements apply to all new and revised listings, so you must provide valid values for all mandatory Specifics.
Tip
If your items have at least one unset required Item Specific, product data cannot be listed or updated on Kaufland. Mandatory Specifics shall be provided to comply with Kaufland requirements and ensure smooth listing processes.
It takes several steps to fix such error messages:
1. It is recommended to ensure that your M2E Kaufland version is fresh. Please check our Release History and make sure you are up to date with the latest enhancements.
2. Navigate to Kaufland > Configuration > Categories and click View next to the category in which the affected products are listed. You will see an asterisk sign next to those Item Specifics that have to be provided. Please, note that the changes apply to all products assigned to the edited Category.
3. Alternatively, you can go to the Listing, switch the view mode to Settings, and select Edit Category Settings in the Actions drop-down for the affected products.
Please remember to Save the changes after edits to the Item Specifics settings are made.
Periodically, Kaufland might add new required Item Specifics based on buyers’ search trends. As a seller, you have to be prepared to specify more data about your products when new requirements are rolled out.
